Supports New Tracking Devices

When designing the Track360 GPS tracking software our past experience had taught us that it was essential to support multiple tracking devices. Having this flexibility means a fleet could have ten or more different manufacturers’ devices and we would be able to accept and process the data from each. We can easily and quickly make the appropriate changes to the system as new devices come on to the market. This feature also opens the door to the competition’s customer base when contracts are due to be renewed. If a potential customer has already bought tracking devices for their fleet, it is possible to save on the expense and inconvenience of de-installing the old devices and installing new ones².

Data Forwarding

Other office systems can make use of the data provided by the tracking devices but require the data in a particular format. Once again the flexibility of the Track360 GPS tracking software comes into its own. We can take the data from the tracking devices and forward it on in the same form, or process it before forwarding (convert to XML for example). The data can also be forwarded to one or more systems.

Real Time Tracking

We use PTV’s latest European street level maps to provide real time positional information. As the screen auto-refreshes, operators can see where each of their vehicles is and can select individual vehicles from the list on the left hand side to zoom down to a street level map.

Reporting Suite

A constantly evolving suite of reports are provided, including:

• Detailed Activity Report: showing every event within selected timeframe including time of event, speed of vehicle, location of vehicle, speed of vehicle, direction travelling.
• Journey Report: showing the devices’ ignition on and ignition off within a selected timeframe. The displayed information will include: time of ignition on, time started moving, time stopped moving, time ignition off, distance travelled and idle times.
• Exception Report: showing if a vehicle has broken the set parameters - speed limit, idle time, stop time.
• Report Filters:
  • Vehicles/Vehicle Groups
  • Period (Start and End Dates)
  • Thresholds where appropriate. For example the speed limit threshold for the Exception Report.
• The user will have the ability to save 'favourite' reports to easily reload in the future.
• Export into common formats such as PDF, CSV and Excel

All the regularly used features of the Track360 GPS tracking software can be added to the dashboard providing instant access to the information they require as soon as they log in.

This popular management tool quickly gives operators a graphic summary of how their fleet is performing centred on their own business goals. Should something require further investigation the operator can drill down simply by clicking the widget in question.
